Rick Wilson brings to AEG 20 years of experience in consulting and industry. He has managed numerous air quality projects (Title V, P4/Flexible Title V Permit, Minor NSR, Synthetic Minor, NSPS, MACT) for a variety of industrial clients, including the chemical, coial natural gas, pharmaceutical, rubber products, wood products, aerospace, metals, and surface coating industries.
Among his current projects, Rick is serving as consultant to industrial clients who are in Title V technical review with the West Virginia Division of Air Quality. He has also assisted clients in the areas of regulatory analyses, environmental data management, compliance strategies/operational flexibility, pollution prevention, air emissions modeling, air emissions inventories, negotiations with regulatory agencies, environmental compliance audits, site characterization, Phase I & II site environmental assessments, NPDES permitting, CERCLA, RCRA, and SARA 312/313 compliance.
Rick was a key participant in the 1998-2000 effort to reform and streamline many of the West Virginia Air Quality regulations. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the West Virginia Manufacturers Association Air Issues Team. Rick is an active member of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Environmental Committee and the West Virginia Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association. He heads the West Virginia PSD/NSR Reform Work Group, which will make recommendations to the WVDAQ regarding revisions to both the major NSR and minor NSR WV regulations for implementing the recently enacted USEPA NSR Reforms and other desired regulatory revisions.
Rick received his MS in Environmental Engineering and his BS in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University.
